We collect nothing
This app collects no information about you.
- It never asks for your name, email address or phone number.
- There is no account and no sign-in.
- There are no advertisements, and no advertising identifier (IDFA / Advertising ID) is read.
- No analytics or usage reports are sent.
- The only in-app purchase is the Unification Edition, a single one-time purchase. Payment is handled by the App Store / Google Play; this app never receives card numbers or other payment details. The fact that you bought it (whether, when, and how), and how many trials you have started in the Standard and Veteran modes and in Adept / Master training, are written only to the save on your device.
- Location, contacts, photos, microphone and camera are not used.
We do not connect
This app does not connect to the internet by itself, and we run no servers. You can play in airplane mode (the free range, and everything once purchased).
The only exceptions are buying or restoring the Unification Edition, and asking the store at launch whether it was bought and what it costs. At those moments Apple's StoreKit (iOS) or the Google Play Billing Library built into the app (Android) talks to Apple / Google, under their privacy policies; the Billing Library may also send its own operation logs to Google. Nothing reaches us. If the store cannot be reached, play continues (the purchase record lives on your device).
What is stored
Your progress (daimyo growth, formation, conquered provinces, treasures, settings) is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage (Application.persistentDataPath). The app never sends this save anywhere, and we cannot read it. Like other apps, it may be included in an OS backup you have turned on (iCloud / your Google account); that backup stays in your account and we cannot read it either. Deleting the app deletes the save on the device (restoring from an OS backup may bring it back). Nothing remains with us, because nothing ever reached us.
Children
Since nothing is collected, nothing is collected from children either, at any age. We do not collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, this document is updated with a new date. If anything ever starts being collected, it is written here before the app ships it.
